The studio's expertise is rooted in more than three decades of metalworking heritage, producing cast work for architectural and design projects across international markets. Design development, prototyping, casting, finishing, and material selection remain closely connected throughout the process.

That proximity matters. It allows subtle decisions about proportion, balance, edge detailing, and finish to remain consistent from the first sketch through to the final object placed within a home.

Taho grew from a studio rather than a catalogue, and that distinction shapes every piece in the collection. The forms here were not developed by a product team and passed to a factory for production. 

They were drawn, prototyped, cast, and finished in-house by a studio with more than thirty years of metal heritage and an established track record working with design houses and architectural practices across international markets.

Designers work alongside casters, finishers, and stone specialists throughout the development of each piece. When a proportion needs adjusting after the first prototype, the conversation happens between the person who drew it and the person who poured it. 

When a stone slab is being selected for a top, the decision is made by the same studio that will finish the base it will sit on. That proximity produces objects that hold together as complete things rather than as assemblies of separately made components.

No two pieces leave the studio in identical condition because no two pieces are identical. The stone varies. Travertine benefits from coasters beneath acidic drinks and responds best to gentle cleaning. These qualities are inseparable from the authenticity of the material itself.

As a general guide, the table should sit at approximately two-thirds the length of the sofa and remain close to seat-cushion height for ease of use. Leaving generous clearance around the perimeter allows movement through the room while preserving the table's visual presence within the seating arrangement.
